The 2nd Korea Safety Industry Fair, which was held to create and encourage an ecosystem for the safety industry, ended with a three-day exhibition. The fair, held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 16th to the 18th, was held under the theme of "Let's make it together, SAFE KOREA," raising national interest in safety and presenting a vision for the safety industry. Exhibitions, experiences, conferences, and export consultations were held, covering whole range from earthquakes, disaster prevention and security to transportation and industrial safety. 

In particular, the fair drew attention from children's visitors as it held events where visitors could experience disaster situations such as earthquake evacuation, disaster prevention, and elevator safety.  Moreover, participating companies attracted attention by introducing various new technologies and products. 

◆OTS, 'CCTV Camera Auto-lift System Coming Down to the Ground' 

OTS, a CCTV camera company, introduced an auto-lift device with its own patented technology at the exhibition. In the case of CCTV cameras located at high places in the existing outdoor areas, maintenance and repair were expensive, and there was a risk of fall accident.

However, OTS's product is capable of rapid work because the CCTV camera is separated from the Auto-lift and comes down to the ground when a worker presses a button on the ground. It is possible to save money and prevent falls because people do not have to go up to electric power/telephone pole or use boom lift / tower wagon. Moreover, the advantage is that it can be done with only one person rather than two to three, with conventional ways, and reduce working time.  

In particular, OTS' Auto-lift device can be installed up to 10 meters high from the ground, and up to 30 meters can be custom-made. It was designated as an excellent government procurement product and was supplied to KEPCO, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Korea Expressway Corporation, and Daejeon City.
