The "2022 Hanbit Grand Prize" award ceremony, which held by Hanwha Group and Daejeon MBC, was held at the Daejeon MBC Open Hall on the 21st.

Celebrating its 18th anniversary this year, the "Hanbit Grand Prize" awards who have faithfully worked and served as a Daejeon citizen in six fields, including science and technology, culture and arts, community service, education and sports promotion, and regional economic development, established by Daejeon MBC in 2005 and co-hosted by Hanwha Group since 2006, positioned itself as a public award ceremony representing the region.

 

The families of the winners, Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo, Sejong Mayor Choi Min-ho, Hanwha Communications Commission President Kim Shin-yeon, Hanwha Galleria Time World Executive Director Kim Young-hoon, Daejeon Superintendent Seol Dong-ho, and Chungnam Superintendent Kim Ji-chul and many guests are attended the ceremony on the 21st to congratulate the winners of each category. 


The winners of each category have been finalized through two rigorous reviews of about 40 candidates since the deadline for application in August.  Song Moo-sang, CEO of OTS Co., Ltd. awarded in the regional economic development sector. 


Kim Shin-yeon, president of the Hanwha Communications Commission, said in a congratulatory speech, "Each winner is precious to our society, and the love, sacrifice, and brilliant achievements you have shown have given comfort and hope to many people." 

He added, "We will continue to make efforts to develop dreams with local people through various activities based on Hanwha's social contribution philosophy - Go Far Away Together."
